# T509 presentation repair, 2026-10-26

The live document and the rendered `/T509` response were fetched again before editing. All three ranked findings in the critique still applied. T509 remained an unpublished private draft; no publication, review, or offer action was taken.

1. Added explicit captions to all nine Similar tables links using the titles read from their current destination documents. The nine destinations and relation sentences are unchanged. Before/after Chromium section previews confirmed the captions replace the address labels without MathJax or JavaScript errors.
2. Removed only `Data properties.digits`, which the live preview printed as `digits: 100 (Unknown key)`. The generator still has `digits = 100`, all 360 written values are unchanged, and the complete rigour explanation is unchanged. The replacement precision preview has no unknown-key message.
3. Left the proposed first-mention Bessel link for a person: adding it to Definition introduced the live audit finding “Definition links to another table; a cross-reference belongs in Similar tables or a comment”. The original Definition was restored, including its DLMF citation. The existing Bessel links in Comments and Similar tables remain. The live skill's first-mention rule conflicts with this audit rule; no source or skill was changed to bypass it.

Numerical evidence: the attached `check_t509_repair.py` checks 30 values, orders 0, 1, and 2 at arguments 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, and 20, using the independent Hankel J/Y representation at 600 bits under Sage 10.9. Every finite, narrow enclosure lies inside its written decimal interval. The largest error upper bound is 0.4687285687488957 units in the last written place. An elementary half-order control passed; 30 displaced-value controls were rejected. The displayed Sage program agrees with its stored order-zero, argument-one value. Exact rational enumeration confirms 120 arguments per order and 360 entries. These are independent spot checks, not a rerun of all 360 quadrature certificates.

To reproduce the check, save the document returned by `GET /api/table?id=T509` as JSON (authentication is needed while the draft is private), install `numberdb` in Sage, and run `sage -python check_t509_repair.py table.json`. The check script itself needs no credential or network access. Its results are attached as `repair_checks.json`. The original `generate.py` attachment remains byte-for-byte unchanged, SHA-256 `cc21c1a56981c431031421e21c945ccea8d5714365a29e58ffd016391e7c089d`.

The final authenticated audit is clean. Read-back confirms that the final document differs from the initial live document only in the nine captions and removal of the unsupported field. No numbers, parameter definitions or order, formulas, or programs were changed.

Rendering limitation: the actual private draft page returned HTTP 404, so the complete draft layout was not inspected. The relevant sections were inspected through read-only previews; the precision preview used the unchanged first rigour paragraph because the complete rigour text exceeded the preview request-line limit. Screenshots, raw and rendered HTML, fetched documents, scripts, initial failures, audit responses, and final read-back evidence are retained in the run artifact directory `agents/runs/20261026T085806Z-repair-work/`.
