Email is the fastest way to reach a person here, and the one that is read. There is no telephone number and no support desk: NumberDB is run by mathematicians rather than by a company.
NumberDB is a collaborative database. Tables of numbers are written and edited by the people who use it, and each table records who changed it and when — follow the “history” link under any table to see it. Content contributed by others is theirs, and is marked as such.
Mathematical content is offered in the hope that it is useful and is checked as carefully as we can manage, but it comes with no warranty. A number in a table is a claim, not a proof; several are conjectural and say so. If you find one that is wrong, the fastest fix is to correct it yourself, and the second fastest is to write.
Tables cite sources, and those citations lead off this site. We have no influence over what those pages contain and do not adopt their content as our own. Nothing on NumberDB loads anything from another site on its own — a link is followed only if you click it. Why that is so, and what it means for what is recorded about you, is in the privacy policy.
The software that runs this site is open source and lives at github.com/numberdb/numberdb-website. The data is licensed CC BY-SA 4.0; contributors keep the copyright in what they write. Third-party components carried with the site keep their own licences, which are recorded alongside them in the source.
