# Build audit response for T572

The final API audit has one structural finding: the symbolic `field` parameter
has two names, `real` and `complex`, each with a full set of ranks and sizes.
The definition-length finding was resolved by moving the metric equation into
Formulas and citing it from the definition. No values or selected arguments
changed in that edit.

The remaining structural finding is assessed, not hidden: both fields index
spaces in one named Bures-volume family, using the same metric definition and
the same volume formula with beta=1 or 2. They are not two different measured
quantities or two metric conventions. Every row is headed V_{N,r}^{(beta)}.
The family issue explicitly fixes `field`, `N`, `rank` in that order, with
identities `real` and `complex`. The definition now says that the field
specifies the space whose volume is taken, and argument-selection.md assesses
the categorical argument. The audit is a structural question and remains
`clean: false`; an independent critic must evaluate this rationale.

The companion Hilbert–Schmidt table is T571. Its actual slug was read from
its website files page, and its document was read through the authenticated
API. It is still a draft at this build's inspection. The cross-reference is
between drafts; its publication status must be considered when the controller
ultimately offers this table. No edit to T571 was made.

Existing tags `physics` and `volume` were retained. `quantum information` is
absent from the two live tag pages. That more specific tag is proposed for
T571, T572, Page average entropies of quantum subsystems, and Trace moments
of induced random density matrices, the four members of family #227.
It was not created by this build.

Build decisions were made by Codex operating as zeta3: adopt both sourced
fields and every rank for 2<=N<=16, use the explicitly corrected v3 formula,
retain the metric's radius-1/2 scale, and write the definition, generator and
checks. The independent critique and its argument-selection sidecar are
still required. No offer, review, or publication action was taken.
